I saw this guy live at the astoria. Doing a set of covers.
One of the BEST gigs I have ever been to.
Also covered in a very authentic Elvis styleee were songs such as Whole lotta Rosie, Blockbuster, Whiskey in the jar and other stuff that just left you slack jawed in amazement at what Elvis could have done if he rocked out. And he finished with a note perfect version of "That's allright mama" done with the exact same instrumentation as the original, and when he did that - it was fucking SPOOKY!.
Saw the gig with S&F, Cousin Sleepalot (Mrs F's family not mine) Dave from Satchi & Satchi and his aussie mate, and a good time was had by all
ahh the days of going to see live bands, god I miss them.

This track kicks arse AND, I tried to get the last band I was in to do this, even learnt it (apart from the solo which is beyond me - but not beyond the other guitarist)

I played my guitar till my fingers went funny,
Tickled Sarah till she went funny,
Drank some wine with Jo till we both went funny,
lost another friend of my friends list wich is not fucking funny.
Stood in the garden getting wet and wondering why I smoke, then realised "it's because they are there" and had a vision of Sir Edmond Hillary lighting up a ciggie at the top of Mount Everest, which made me laugh. Coz I thought it was funny
Advised someone to do something painful to their other half, which made them giggle like mad. Which I thought was funny.
Worried about some people, which I do so often its not even funny.
So, one of those weekends reeeely.
In other news S&F and Moff are back in the country!
